Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable...

Sunday morning.

Tyler and Tom left bright and early for KC with another friend from work... the boys went to the Chiefs v. Broncos game for Tom's birthday.

Which left me with the opportunity to spend a wonderful Sunday with the rest of my little family...

I helped the girls get all dressed up. I did their hair with the pincher (my Chi), put some sparkles on their eyes and glip gloss on their lips, and they dressed up in their gorgeous red dresses...

Tink was first to ask to go outside and get her picture taken. Oh, my girls... They are beginning to realize just how cold it is in the morning, and we certainly didn't last long...

Tink has been so into getting her picture taken lately... finally! But, only if I let her review each shot after it's taken. It's a compromise I am willing to accept at this time!

Don't the girls just look over-the-top adorable in their matching dresses? They rarely match anymore, and this was enough to make Lynzee gag, but I just ♥ it!

Anyway, you may be wondering where we were headed on the cold Sunday morning... Well, my parents and I decided to take the girls to the annual community dinner at the Catholic church, regardless of the fact that we were sans Tyler. It was great. Lynzee and the girls sat with us, and we really enjoyed ourselves!

As soon as we returned home, Tink went down for her nap and Sassy shed her red dress in favor of jeans and her Bears shirt for the game... It was a bit painful, but we watched, just like loyal fans do. We also made some game day snacks. That helped. Sassy and I parted from Graycop after the 3rd quarter and headed to Lynzee's for a while...

The girls played dress up and cat/dog and who-knows-what-else while Lynzee and I watched Twilight: Eclipse on her incredibly comfy couches in the basement. Ahhhh....

Once I got my adequate Taylor Lautner fix the movie had ended, we swung by to pick Tink up and took the girls to Red Robin for dinner.

Afterwards, it was off to Lights in the Lake at Heartspring. This year was our first time through, and I quickly realized that taking pictures out my car window was not going to work...

So, we bundled up and stepped out...

Were you able to spot our awesome foursome?

We stopped inside the conference center to visit with Santa {second time in as many days, if you're keeping track...}

...and to have a sweet, warm treat!...

It was way past bedtime, but the girls had a blast, and it was the perfect end to a pretty perfect Sunday!

P.S. BEARS WON!
