For Japan With Love. ♥

It has been utterly heartbreaking to watch the devastation unfold this past week in Japan. Today, I will observe a day of blog silence in honor of Japan, and in collaboration with the project entitled For Japan With Love. I will also make a monetary donation to the linked organization, Shelterbox.

Please consider joining me, whether it be in a day of silence on your blog, sending up prayers and positive thoughts for all those involved in the tragedy and those who are providing aide, or making a monetary donation to a trusted help organization. Thanks!

My name is Jennifer. I just stumbled across your blog. It is nice!

A girl I met recently has a blog and is stationed in Japan. You can check it out if you want a birds eye view of what is going on by those who are dealing with it.

The blog is ourimperfectlife.blogspot.com

It has been so hard to watch. We had a Japanese exchange student when I was young. We have stayed in contact with her throughout the years. She is currently living in Portland, but her hometown was one of the hardest hit. Her entire family is still there. They are safe, but their home was destroyed. She is having a very hard time being stuck in the States and feels very helpless. So, thank you for taking the time to think of people very far away!
