SPA: Peanut Butter & Banana Pancake Sammies

It's the return of SPA- with quite possibly the most simple non-recipe I could provide. But, hey... it's all about what works for those sweet peas.

The girls have been enjoying this breakfast-for-lunch treat, and I thought I'd share. Introducing Peanut Butter & Banana Pancake Sammies:

I nuked some of the store-bought mini frozen pancakes today for lack of time, but you could most definitely kick it up a notch by making your own heart-healthy whole-grain pancakes ahead of time and freezing those. We slapped on a little peanut butter and sliced banana and served these along side some yogurt. Voila!

They're kind of irresistable, aren't they?

I still put veggie puree in my boys pancakes when I make them. I did it when they were babies to add in a little extra nutrition and now they think it's neat to eat green (peas) and orange (carrot and sweet potato) pancakes! Both boys are now into "crunchy things" aka pecans, so I've been sprinking them on top of their pancakes and waffles. Yum!
