We had a Japanese e...It has been so hard to watch. We had a Japanese exchange student when I was young. We have stayed in contact with her throughout the years. She is currently living in Portland, but her hometown was one of the hardest hit. Her entire family is still there. They are safe, but their home was destroyed. She is having a very hard time being stuck in the States and feels very helpless.
