I said to her "do you realize how many kids you are going to have coming through here??" and she said they were bracing for it. She said you HAVE to catch it in the first 48 hours to have the best shot at the best recovery. My plan of action is just a lot of doctor's visits...Alyssahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15440878065306073881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2744765423813426569.post-44992036317851744002009-08-29T23:32:20.304-05:002009-08-29T23:32:20.304-05:00Oh a happy note, I'm glad that Little A is doi...Oh a happy note, I'm glad that Little A is doing so well! I know how hard it was for you, but she's growing big!

Secondly, I agree with you on H1N1. And you want to hear the REALLY scary part for moi? Because Bubba is allergic to eggs, he cannot get the flu shot...and because his brothers are too young to test, they can't either. Which is why I'm not too sad that Bubba is on the wait list for preschool and probably won't get placed til spring. I don't know, I hope it's better than expected!Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10704708164833718304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2744765423813426569.post-69224939172633759002009-08-29T20:35:54.543-05:002009-08-29T20:35:54.543-05:00I must admit I haven't been too concerned abou...I must admit I haven't been too concerned about H1N1 but my kids have been sick twice with the flu already and it's only August! I called their doctor both times (so 4 times total...I'm sure she thinks I'm crazy) and the symptoms are just regular flu. Nothing to be concerned about. It does make me stop and think that it's going to be a rough flu season though! "No, that would never happen to MY kids"...Maybe I need to change my tune...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2744765423813426569.post-80614924257089869392009-08-29T13:13:38.360-05:002009-08-29T13:13:38.360-05:00I'm glad I'm not the only mama worried abo...I'm glad I'm not the only mama worried about H1N1. I'd totally planned on doing MDO this fall - both for myself & for K because I thought it'd be good to have time like that without me. I've been dragging my feet on it though because I'm worried about exposing her to it unnecessarily. I don't intend to stay holed up in the house for all of flu season of course & I know there's only so much I can do but I'm just not sure MDO'd be a good idea for us. I dunno... :(Maenoreply@blogger.com
