I Just Can't Hide It...

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it...

{Please tell me I'm not the only one who cannot help from playing the Jessie Spano I'm-so-excited freak out session in my head every.single.time I think of this song...}

Anyway, back to my exciting news.

In 58 days, Tyler and I will say goodbye to the sweet peas and head east.

In 59 days, we will bid adieu to Kansas as we board a plane to Ft. Lauderdale and enjoy a relaxing day of fun in the sun.

In 60 days, we will board this beauty and embark on an exciting adventure with Tom & Lynzee inhabiting the balcony next door!

We'll visit here and enjoy the city-view trolley.

We'll stop off here and frolic with the stingrays and sea turtles.

Oh, and of course, we'll be stopping here to check out Blue Hole and Dunns River Falls.

Once we debark, we will spend two additional glorious nights in Ft. Lauderdale to unwind, visit the beach, and para sail.

How about that?

Anxious about the details? Yep. Nervous about leaving the girls for ten nights in more-than-capable hands? More than you could ever imagine. Excited beyond belief to finally have the chance to enjoy a "honeymoon"? Oh, yeah.

Bring it.

So fun! I am a little jealous, I must say!
I've been following your blog for a while now, but I don't think I knew you were from Kansas... or maybe I did and I just forgot... who knows with me. :o)
My hubby and I went on our honeymoon five years ago and we flew into and out of Ft Lauderdale. It sounds like we did a similar trip for ours and you won't be disappointed. At least we weren't! We spent two days in Miami. South Beach is fun and the Lincoln St(I think) shopping is a blast, too! We stayed at a Holiday Inn and there was a fun small shopping center with restaurants across the street called Bayside Market. I had to look back at my pics for that. :o) Anyway, being a fan of Saved by the Bell, you have to visit if you're close, just because it's called Bayside! :o) And YES, I totally sing that song, either out loud or in my head, EVERY time I even say "I'm so excited." I'm glad that I'm not the only one!
Anyway, if you are a fan of Thai food, we ate at a great little Thai place across from the airport Holiday Inn in Ft Lauderdale. It was right next to Big Lots (which made for some fun shipping to kill time) and it was yummy!
We went on a 7 day carnival cruise as well and stopped in San Juan, St. Thomas, and St Maarten.
I am so excited for you! I am sure you will have a ton of fun and I don't even know you! :o) If you and your hubby and friends like music, make sure you visit the piano bar if your ship has one. We spent almost every late night in ours. Of course, we REALLY love music. :o)

Have a blast!

So, that's probably how I found you then... Thanks Zoe! I never know. But either way, I always get a little happier when I read Kansas blogger posts. :o) Silly me! :)

Yay!! That trip sounds like a blast :)

I can only do four nights away from my Needy McNeederson - 10 nights would be a bona fide vacation!

The girls will be just fine, and oh how blessed they will be to have such happy and relaxed and rested parents after you return!!!

Taking time for yourselves is SOOOO important!! And giving your kids the gift of parents with a happy marriage is one of the BEST things you can give them!!!

Can't wait to see all the pics!

Are you totally hitting up Old Navy's summer dresses right now or what?? =)

(p.s. please save this comment and reply it to me in about 3 years when Dave and I first leave our Littles and I am FREAKING out about it =) )
