Part I
Part II:
We decided to make the most of Tyler's furloughed time and make our rounds, family-wise. So, as we left Minnesota, we hopped on 90 E instead of 35 S and drove through beautiful, snowy Wisconsin. It was a nice change of pace- always a plus to have some new scenery to ponder whilst you are stuck in a car with your dear family...
Wisconsin puts a smile on my face.
Why, you ask?
Oh, I don't know... maybe because there are sights like this from the highway:
Or, maybe it's because this is what you see when you stop for gas:
Aha haha.
All joking aside, there was no way we were stopping in this little town and not hitting the cheese store. (Do cheese store's have special titles?) There is nothing better than this...
...and this...
...from a place like this...
Her sweet smile tells the story...
Moving on.
We pulled into Rockford about 11:00 for a pit stop to see Auntie MiMi and the girls. It was good to see everyone again.
Isn't L the cutest?
Uncle Tyler with L & A:
Miss K was a toothless maghee:
Auntie MiMi made Sassy's hair pretty, as usual...
L lovingly almost bit Sassy's nose off. She was so excited to give her kisses:
F and A being silly billies! So pretty!
And, before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye and head to our stopping point before the weather hit and before the traffic began to get heavy...
To be continued...
