So, let me reflect on what I did not do this past week. Hmm...
I did not allow Sassy to subsist off of a mainly cake, cupcake, and various other birthday treats diet for the past several days, despite the fact that she has not eaten a single well-balanced meal preceding said treats. Not Me!
I have not let my three-year-old become a master bedtime manipulator. I do not allow her to leave her bed and give me hugs and kisses 73 times per night. I would never bring her into my bed after she shrieked "I'm scared, I'm scared," only to have her laugh instantaneously when I entered her bedroom, proving that scared was not a very accurate description of her true feelings. Nope, Not Me!
I did not freak out on my husband yesterday when I caught him feeding our sweet baby disgusting, neon orange macaroni & cheese from a jar. I did not proceed to grill him on whether he ever saw me let anything half as nasty pass Sassy's lips as a baby, nor did I threaten his very existence if he EVER bought and fed anything so processed and gross to her again. I did not shout at the top of my lungs, "I don't care if it was on manager's special for 18 cents, Tyler!!" Not Me!
I did not delay the re-start of my "new eating plan" from Friday until this morning just so I could eat whatever I wanted this weekend. I did not eat hot wings and spinach artichoke dip for dinner last night. Oh, and I didn't eat TWO cupcakes right before bed last night, just to "get them in". That would be disgusting. Not something I would ever do...
Oh, and I have not delayed getting Little A out of her crib for 5 minutes so that I could finish typing this post. Nope. Not Me!
5 sweet tweets:
hilarious! I would NEVER do any of those things, either!! :) You're too cute! Glad you're enjoying your jewelry!!
LOL, I think I did some of those things this last weekend too. After I finish my bag of chips, I'm totally getting back on the wagon, wink, wink! Oh and yes the cake was delicious, I DID NOT eat half of it, LOL!
WAS THE BABY FOOD BEACHNUT? I bought some of it too! It was on sale for like $.39 a jar!
HA! I would NEVER eat peanut butter M&M's while reading this blog post!!
Wow, you're crazy. I would never do any of those things either. Especially eating sweets just to "get them in" - yeah, that's just crazy.
