Here in the SPH, we are firm believers of the motto, Better Late Than Never. Which is why I can bring myself to announce, with minimal shame, that our holiday appreciation gifts are now complete. Remember those?
With only the best intentions, we figured we gave ourselves plenty of time. We must have forgotten how dreadfully busy the month of December always proves to be. Then, Tyler and I took over the project and we made a bit of progress. But, only a tiny bit. I promised myself we would have them done by January 3rd when school resumed. Didn't happen.
So, here we are, nearly midway through January, with work yet to be done. Buttons to be sewn. Mugs to be filled with Starbucks goodness. So, we did.
I actually love the way they turned out. Sassy and Tink gave them to their MDO teachers yesterday, and they loved them! They are on their way to preschool today to make good on our promise of gifts after the holiday break.
I purchased enough mugs and made enough cozies for all our docs and nurses at our pediatrician's office. Now I'm debating whether to take them or not. Who am I kidding, I am beyond mortified with our untimely delivery. So, what to do- march them in with a smile or stash them away for other occasions? What would you do?

CUTE! What great gifts - practical and adorable :)
girl! these are fabulous, i love them!!
Those are soooo cute, what a clever idea! And might I say, you are very thoughtful to give gifts to docs, nurses, and such (I feel like a slacker now)! :)
Give them to all your wonderful friends and blog-followers, of course :) Kidding, but I would totally stash. They will totally come in hand sometime soon, I'm sure.
those are adorable! Totally take them, I would love a gift anytime! they might appreciate them more because they didn't come at the same time as a thousand other gifts! Lol
I LOVE that you finished these! They turned out fantastic. Now I don't feel quite as guilty about my epic fail. ;) I like the idea of saving them for a giveaway...
