Picture Day.

Sassy just headed off to preschool. Today is picture day.

They sent home the picture order form a week or so ago {you know, the one where you have to order pictures before you see them... yeah, that one}.

I told myself then that I was not going to order pictures. I've been trying to convince myself that it's a waste to spend money on pictures that I can take myself. Better.

Then, there's that nagging voice in my head telling me that I am missing out on such an important milestone by not ordering school pictures. I mean, what will we put in the little school bus frame with a spot for each year?? {Yeah, we don't actually own one of those.}

Nevertheless, I had my mind made up. No.School.Pictures.

Then, just this morning, I was on the phone talking with Tyler and the subject came up. Tyler, without hesitation, told me to order the pictures. Tyler. The voice of reason in this household.

So, I ordered a small package.

We had a great time getting Sassy all dressed up, and even put some lip gloss on. I took some pictures of my own before we left.



When I got home, I headed to my office and began my normal afternoon routine... beginning with playing blog catch-up. When I clicked on this post, I just started laughing out loud...

So, I'm not the only one?
