So much for a New Years resolution (...21 days later). Ah, I never keep those things anyway. It was a small start for me- 1 mile on the elliptical and 1/2 mile on the treadmill. Yeah, I was pretty spent. (Thai lettuce wraps and mahi-mahi 30 minutes prior didn't do me any favors). Baby steps, right?
Don't believe me- here's the ugly, sweaty, red-faced picture to prove it. Day one is behind me. YES!!

Yay for you! The first day's the hardest (I hear; I think I'm allergic to exercise but after this pregnancy I might need to find a remedy!) Best of luck to you!
Congratulations! I too imagine that the first step is the hardest.. that's probably why I've never taken it! Haha. Let us know how much easier it gets as you keep it up. ;)
Way to go! I am needing to jump on the fit train too. I am starting with eating better, but I know exercise would do my body good :)
As you know, I bought a treadmill well into the new year. I have been walking on it thirty minutes a day (for what, four days now?) And it is absolutely killing me. I will be interested to hear about your progress. It takes a lot of motivation to get dressed and leave the house to go to the gym, so good for you. I knew I would not be able to do that. It is pretty amazing that I put on tennis shoes (I am not a fashion diva by any means, but tennis shoes really should never be worn), and go to my basement.
