Lucky 13.

Twelve Days of Giveaways have come and gone,
With plenty of opportunities had to fawn:
A cute sphere of lip balm in sweet mint,
A darling headband in the cutest zebra print,
Beautiful note cards and a pen to correspond,
Warm & fuzzy polka dot socks to don,
A pineapple bento box with special room for sauce!
A tube of glittering ginger mint lip gloss,
A gorgeous Briar.Claire crochet hat in red,
Or perhaps some Mink Muffs Essie nail polish instead,
A trio of our favorite children’s book picks,
A gift card to grant you your daily coffee fix,
A JellyBean Designs headband with rosettes,
A credit for DuLu Designs- choose your silhouette…
The Twelve Days of Giveaways are complete…
Some won, some lost, but wouldn’t it be sweet…
Come fate, come luck, whatever will befall…
…If YOU could have the chance to win it ALL?

That's right, folks... one of you dear, devoted readers of mine will win all... yes, ALL... 12 Days of Giveaways prizes! {Gasp}... I know. Please, take a moment. Catch your breath.

Chosen at random, one of you will win an EOS sweet mint lip balm, a Little Lesiw hair accessory, a package of note cards and a zig writer, a pair of Bath & Body Works fuzzy socks infused with lavender & shea, a Dr. Sears Nibble Tray, a C.O. Bigelow Ginger Mint lip gloss, a Briar.Claire crochet hat, a Essie Mink Muffs nail polish, the trio of Anna Dewdney Llama, Llama books, a $10 Starbucks gift card, a JillyBean Designs headband, and a $25 credit to DuLu Designs. Phew. Prize Package valued at $120.00!!!

So, here's the deal... each and every single entry so far will count as one entry into the grand prize contest (beginning with day 1 and continuing on), accounting for 330 entries already! You may also receive additional entries the following ways:

1. Leave me a comment stating something you would genuinely like to see more of or see me write about on my blog. I got a couple of great ideas the other day, and would love some more. It's a new year, people. I need some ideas!!! One entry per idea/topic (separate comments please)

2. Give of yourself. Perhaps you'd like to help bring Mercy home. Or give to Project 320. Maybe you have a favorite charitable cause. Maybe you chose an angel off the angel tree this holiday season. Maybe it's something as simple as lending a helping hand to a friend or donating some time somewhere special. Just leave a comment saying "I gave".

3. Share the last good book you read. I need some new suggestions.

4. Refer people to our facebook fan page. Every person who likes our page and states that they were referred by you will gain YOU another entry.

You can also enter the classic ways- follow us through Google Friends Connect, share through facebook (once per day), share through twitter (once per day), like our facebook fan page, etc, etc. Separate comments for each, please.

All entries will be added to the log as they come in, both from this post and from facebook fan referrals. Entries will be accepted through Friday, 12/24 at 11:59 PM CST. A winner will be chosen through random.org and announced some time on Christmas morning. If the winner has already won a previous day, they will be given the option to allow for a redraw for that day or keep both prizes! Good luck!

The last book I read was Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. Very informative and interesting but not really something you read if you aren't getting ready to give birth or a midwife ;)

So funny you said to leave a comment on the last book you read, b/c I JUST finished it last night. It's from Randy Paush, and called "The Last Lecture". Most have heard of him from a couple years ago, he's the college professor who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was given just months to live (leaving behind a wife and three dear little ones). Anyway, it's a shorter book with many life lessons and it's worth the read!

Sorry to ramble, but it's really a good book. I have it if anyone wants to borrow! :)

The last great book I read was either The Chronicles of Narnia series or The Lord of the Rings series - it's been a while since I've read anything longer than a 10 page Mercer Mayer book (though I recommend those too :) ).

I would also like if you could share more recipes, especially any that picky kids are likely to eat and yummy for us adults too!

Another thing I'd be interested to read about is your experiences having your parents live with you (not sure they currently are, but I think you mentioned they were staying with you for a while). My parents live directly across the street from us, so I can somewhat relate. For me, it can be such a blessing, but also quite challenging (& that was as nicely as I could put it!) at times too! :)
